Only two minutes from here, the wine bar and grill offers an excellent alternative to the château's gourmet restaurant, and promises an extremely enjoyable evening out. The wine bar area features a range of wines that guests are invited to choose for themselves. The grill serves up the Wachauer Dry Aged Burger for lunch, and in the evening a steak or fish grilled over a wood fire.
On the traditional boats of the company Fähre Dürnstein, up to 12 people can sail along the Danube to Heurigen, stopping for a quick swim at one of the river's beaches and admiring the scenery of the Wachau region, all while enjoying a plate of charcuterie with a glass of local wine. As for wine lovers, what better way to fully appreciate the region than to enjoy a tasting along the banks of the river?
Join me on a tour of the Wachau region, its wineries, its vineyards and its winemakers. As a descendant of the Jamek and Wieser families, there is nothing I don't know about the field and I have access to all the region's great wine estates. Visitors can adapt and enhance the tour as they wish, with cultural and culinary experiences.
The wine cellar in Schloss Dürnstein houses a large number of regional wines, also from smaller wineries. Seize the opportunity and enjoy the best wines from several vintners during a tasting.
