Around a 30 minute walk through beautiful Sussex countryside is the local village of West Hoathly. This quaint village is home to a lovely pub, named the Cat Inn, serving some of the best pub food in the country. Make sure you look back on your walk, and you will get a wonderful view of the imposing manor set into the countryside – stunning.

The gardens are the jewel in Gravetye’s crown and cannot be missed. They are historically important and have been restored to their former glory recently. The best way to experience the beautiful gardens is with a guided tour with Head Gardener, Tom Coward and is a fantastic way to spend an hour in an afternoon.
