On the mountainside, wild herbs capture the strength of the sun and the energy of the wind. Harvested in full bloom, they are first steamed before being used to fill herbal pouches, which are then warmed. On contact with the skin, these alpine essences-derived from the active ingredients of edelweiss, gentian and calamint-restore radiance and vitality. The mountain invites infuses the senses, awakens the body and infuses it with a new sense of energy.

A revitalizing massage with alpine herbs

From relaxing warmth to invigorating coolness, this unique salt stone massage is a balanced treatment achieving both energy and calm. Based on the Alpine method, it combines a gentle scrub made from honey, propolis, and rock salt, followed by a full-body massage with natural salt stones. It nourishes your skin, releases tension, and gives your complexion renewed radiance. This innovative treatment also promotes cellular regeneration and ensures a profound feeling of well-being and inner alignment.

Gazing at the stars

Starting directly from Terra - The Magic Place, take Trail No. 2 to Malga Prati, then climb the Giogo Prati, continuing on Trail No. 23 to the summit of the Stoanernen Mandln (Stone Men) at an altitude of 6,571 feet (2,003 meters). This 75-minute hike can be enjoyed in summer and winter and offers a spectacular, 360-degree panorama of the Dolomites. On the peak, hundreds of stone figures have stood for centuries, inspiring legends of witches and pagan rituals. With its combination of nature and mystery, this walk is interesting and accessible for everyone.

Visiting the Stone Men

You can feel the magic from the first bends in the trail: endless fir forests, verdant pastures, rugged peaks. Around Terra - The Magic Place is a network of marked trails leading you deep into the Sarntal Alps, a hiker's paradise, whether you are a novice or a veteran. Along the way, stop at a picturesque mountain inn to savor a steaming knödel dumpling or a crisp, golden strudel. Alpine Hike

South Tyrol's longest suspension bridge, the Marterloch, awaits you, stretched between the peaks and the sky. From Terra - The Magic Place, explore Marter Valley and follow one of the region's oldest mule trails as it winds through fir trees and rocks. Far below your feet, the Marterloch Gorge itself is worth the outing, with its dizzying cliffs and roaring waters. Informational panels along the path provide fascinating insights into the area's natural and cultural history.

Suspension Bridge

From Terra - The Magic Place, head for one of the most breathtaking panoramic roads in Europe: Bolzano, Val Gardena, then the dizzying Sella switchbacks. This legendary loop, known as the "Sellaronda," crosses over four spectacular passes and, at every turn, offers phenomenal panoramic views of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Allow two hours for the loop alone, and about five hours for the round trip from the hotel.
