Throughout the year many of the world’s top chefs will hold court here. There is no menu, allowing the creativity and skills of the chef to take centre stage.
An ode to expertly prepared fresh seafood, So Hands On is a sushi counter with just five seats. At certain times of the year it will welcome the renowned sushi master, Chef Kenji Gyoten, the youngest three-Michelin starred chef in Japan, and one of only four three-Michelin starred sushi chefs in the world. Chef Akira Koba, another highly skilled and experienced Japanese chef, will be running the table year-round.
Translating to ‘here it is’, this is the culinary heart of the island, featuring an endless spread of fresh fruits, live cooking stations, freshly caught and grilled-to-order fish and a collection of Asian dishes and Maldivian specialties. The wood-fired oven offers freshly baked pizzas. Guests can design their own pizza by choosing from the choice of toppings.
