“Latvia and its capital Riga at the moment are undiscovered destinations for many tourists. That’s why at first we offer our guests 2 hours sightseeing tour when experienced and passionate guide will take city guests through the most interesting historical places of Riga. City has several districts that perfectly reflect different historical evidences in time-line, like wooden district what is a mirror for Riga in 19th century or Old Town with its history dating back to 13th century. This tour will give the short answer to question – “What is Riga?” and it will be the start of an amazing journey in a small country full of cultural and historical treasures.”
“Dome Hotel & SPA is unique architectural monument of UNESCO heritage in heart of Old Riga, built 400 years ago and renovated in 2009. During restoration, architects put equally great importance on both modern and historically valuable items - 18th century wall paintings, stairs, stoves, doors and windows, whereas rooms are equipped with the latest engineering systems and special spatially solutions. With our size of 15 rooms we provide a personal approach to each guest offering a private concierge service delivered in friendly manner, which not only includes a traditional restaurant reservation or ticket purchase, but will also become a kind of assistant to each guest’s stay and help in resolving the substantive issues.”
“The key aspect of the delicious menu is Baltic Sea fish and fresh local farmer’s ingredients served at the highest level of culinary excellence. This experience is highlighted by an exquisite wine selection with first-class champagne, aromatic red or fine white wine! We love fascinating guests with new culinary ideas by renewing the menu four times a year. Le Dome always remains faithful to local seasonal products. My favorite ingredients are Latvian eel, cat fish, perch, pike, rabbit, venison and wild boar. In summer and autumn I love going to the forest gathering chanterelles, king boletus and other forest gifts that later are used to cook my signature meals. In order to make this experience more exciting I kindly offer our guests to join me in morning walk to Central Market, where I get fresh fish every day from local fisherman.”
