Thank you for your patience...
There are so many ways to get involved in life on the farm. Ask one of the estate team members to take you on a guided tour of our organic kitchen garden and orchards where you will learn to recognize plants, understand how and when to harvest their fruits and discover how to use these gifts of nature in food and drinks.
Collect eggs laid on the day by our hens. Take a stroll in our organic herb garden and pick the herbs you love the most. We’ll turn these scented leaves and flowers into a freshly made tea or create a Signature Cocktails in our Convivium Bar. Hike or cycle our many meandering pathways, and stop off at our treehouse for a sunrise or sundowner view.
Mount Etna is one of the world’s largest and most active volcanoes. Discover this amazing volcano on foot by hiking the craters with an expert guide – the unique landscape of the volcano, which has an almost lunar appearance, and views over most of Eastern Sicily and Calabria are incredible.
Explore the Sicilian countryside in the most characterful way and immerse yourself in the unforgettable atmosphere of mysterious Mount Etna. Ride a local horse, slow your pace, reconnect with nature: savour a moment of inner harmony and freedom. We follow ancient trails that meander through vineyards, woodland and countryside, with views of the volcano, Etna’s villages and the sea.
Volcanic Etna is one of the most exciting emerging wine territories, with indigenous grape varieties and a rare terroir. Learn about these unique wines through the lens of winegrowing and winemaking traditions. Using the estate’s vineyards and ancient winemaking facility, the ’almento’ as the venue, this private wine-tasting tour is led by our expert sommelier. You’ll sample wines from the Monaci delle Terre Nere estate and other acclaimed local producers.
Learn the secrets of Sicilian cooking with our Chef, who starts the lesson with a visit to the farm to collect fresh eggs, herbs and vegetables. You’ll be taught how to make fresh pasta by hand, using flour from heritage wheat, as well as seasonal sauces. Afterwards, enjoy the fruits of your labours with a delightful lunch.
