Guests can enjoy the magnificent views : the changing landscapes of the bay as the tide turns, the dramatic McGillicuddy Reeks in the background or the cascading Sheen waterfalls.
With 15 miles of outstanding fishing on the estate alone, you can almost feel the twitch of the line from your bedroom window. With plentiful lakes nearby too, salmon, trout and fly fishing are all possible here. Our experienced resident fishing instructor, or Ghillie as its traditionally known, is on hand for that all important local knowledge. Guiding, equipment and licenses can also be arranged. Not many hotels can boast their very own smoke house, but Sheen Falls Lodge can. Fish or no fish in hand, you’ll be able to enjoy our very own freshly caught wild Atlantic salmon, cooked or smoked to perfection and served in our restaurants.
