Once home to a large family of Provençal humanists, Château de Fonscolombe has preserved its soul. Its salons of Genoa leather and Chinese wallpaper still resonate with their lively character. The park, with paths lined by majestic trees, is the fantastic oeuvre of a lineage of botanists. As for the restaurant L’Orangerie, it too has embraced the chic, rustic and Provençal charm of the estate. Soft and subdued in winter, it takes its summer quarters in the shade of a large bald cypress. Chef Quentin Durand breathes his creativity into a modern cuisine with original Provencal flavors in harmony with the richness of the terroir.
