Awaken all the senses

Cooking classes with a renowned chef

Jacques Coussau

Cooking is an art form passed down from generation to generation at Relais de la Poste. The property invites you to immerse yourself in this authentic universe with a cooking class, where you will discover gastronomy inspired by both the region and the unique creations of Jean Cousseau, an award-winning chef with decades of experience.

Visit the Petite Lagune estate

Ever-proud of its Landes terroir, Relais de la Poste produces wine according to the principles of sustainable agriculture. Guests can discover its experimental vineyard during walks around the estate, not far from the pine forest and the orchard.

In the Landes region

After the swimming pool and the ornamental gardens, you reach an orchard planted with 50 fruit trees grown in the conservatory. Enjoy a quiet stroll around the 7-hectare estate and then relax in the jacuzzi-steam-room-sauna or enjoy a treatment in our well-being centre. You can also discover the Coteaux de Chalosse, the Sud Adour and the Circuit des Abbayes walking route. Visit the vineyards of Armagnac, the Ognoas Museum or the stretches of pristine white sandy beaches. Prolong your holiday and visit the Basque country, which is only a stone's throw away."

Horse-back riding between the ocean and the forest

Take a pony or horse-back ride along the coast and in the pine forest that surrounds it. Enthusiasts can also attend a dressage and show-jumping course in the Écuries Mont Royal. This traditional half-timbered house, which dates from 1891 and was recently renovated, was designed to accommodate horses of visitors to the region.
