Château de Rochegude invites you to enjoy a stay as a couple or with family or friends and experience time standing still. The old stonework and lush foliage fit perfectly within the heart of this little Provençal village. The Château’s 10-hectare park is the perfect place for a stroll during which you’ll have the chance to spot and maybe even get close to free-roaming deer.
Whether you're passionate about traditional stonework, fine dining or simply a lover of nature and beautiful landscapes, the Drôme Provençale region has plenty of treasures to offer you. Situated just 20 minutes from Château de Rochegude, enjoy a visit to the village of Grignan and its château, made famous by the Marquise de Sévigné. The heady scent of lavender will form a backdrop to your journey. Make a detour to Nyons for an olive oil tasting before returning to the Château for a dinner paired with the very best wines our region has to offer.
During a discovery weekend at the Château, our Chef will share with you the secrets of the truffle. Enjoy a stroll around the famous market at Richerenches, where the aromas will tickle your nostrils and whet your appetite for our truffle omelette. You’ll also be able to spend an afternoon learning the art of truffle hunting and you’ll gather ‘rabasses’ (the Provençal word for truffles) for your dinner.
