In contrast to the manicured gardens which surround the house, the woodland trails invite guests into an area of unleashed beauty. Guests are encouraged to explore Langdon’s part of the Carolinian Forest where they can delight in the blooms of trilliums in the spring, the tree canopy shade of the summer and the bright colours of the maple leaves in the Fall. Our resident Bernese dogs often beg for an invite to join guests on their exploration.
After a relaxing day of delicious meals, a swim in the pool and some pampering at the spa. The perfect way to greet the evening is to toast to many more identical days to come.
Furnished with large white rockers, couples gather on the conservatory varandah to enjoy a cocktail and the sunset.
After experiencing a weekend of Chef Bangerter’s clever culinary creations, guests are invited to join him on Sunday mornings for a cooking demonstration. Chef Bangerter shares some of his talents interacting with guests and while preparing a seasonal dish using Langdon Hall’s garden grown vegetables and locally raised meats. It’s a wonderful glimpse into the culinary passion that abounds at Langdon Hall.
