Working in collaboration with the Tourist Board and local businesses to encourage horse riding tourists to visit the town.
The property was one of the main initiators of this project in the town of Ermelo, which combines environmental protection with a unique tourist activity. Getting about on horseback means using fewer cars, and so reduces CO2 emissions. Ever since, the town has been known as an excellent place to visit on horseback, contributing to local development. To promote the emergence of new green ideas, the property works with the town council and other local players, developing great initiatives, and together putting them in place! The environment is a key subject in the kitchens too: the salmon is smoked traditionally and the dishes are full of locally grown produce.
