Zarafa Camp.

Lodge and restaurant in a game reserve. Botswana,Selinda Reserve

Unique in the world: Elephants, buffalos, cheetahs, leopards, lions, giraffes and antelopes are the main guests at this 320,000 acre private reserve

Dorian Hoy, Maître de Maison, presents the property:

Elephants, buffalos, cheetahs, leopards, lions, giraffes and antelopes are the main guests at this 320,000 acre private reserve. Nor is it uncommon to see the endangered African wild dog hunting: the region is renowned for the opportunities it offers to observe predators, and indeed the 300 species of bird to which it is home, including the rare African skimmer. The camp, which overlooks the Zibadianja Lagoon, was created by two safari enthusiasts, renowned National Geographic photographers and documentarians Dereck & Beverly Joubert, who wanted to protect this wilderness while also wishing to share it with others. It is designed with the environment in mind, garnering it many eco-accolades, with large, magnificently appointed tents in a traditional style reminiscent of the safaris of yesteryear.
