Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia was opened more than fifty years ago by Aimo and Nadia, partners in life and in work, and is now famous both for its cuisine and for the place itself, a site-specific artistic and architectural project, the Paolo Ferrari Installation-District (Gegend) with its performances combining culinary high culture, theatre and art. Stéphanie, Aimo and Nadia’s daughter, is now at the helm of Il Luogo, alongside Grands Chefs Fabio Pisani and Alessandro Negrini, who produce a cuisine that has kept pace with changing times: they manage to tease unsuspected flavours from their chosen ingredients, even in the simplest of dishes, thanks to the meticulous care they take in selecting produce from the local terroir. Their dishes are the fruit of both traditional and contemporary techniques, and give perfect expression to the complex and varied culinary heritage bequeathed by the culture and temperament of Italy.
