The International President of Relais & Châteaux attended the annual conference of the Seafood Choices Alliance thereby underlining the commitment of Relais & Châteaux member properties to support sustainable fishing practices.

The objective of this blog is to raise awareness amongst as many people as possible to support action for healthy oceans and to encourage chefs the world over to commit to sustainable fishing.

The Seafood Summit and Relais & Châteaux (31 January to 2 February 2010 in Paris)

The annual conference of the Seafood Choices Alliance brings together the stakeholders in the industry (fishing and aquaculture), non-governmental organisations, political decision-makers, scientists, media etc. to discuss the topic of sustainability of aquatic products and the challenges facing the fishing and aquaculture sectors.

In his capacity as International President of Relais & Châteaux, Jaume Tàpies presented on 31 January 2010 the commitments entered into by the members of Relais & Châteaux regarding the sustainable supply of seafood products.
