Champagne tasting in the afternoon of New Year’s Eve, with Head Sommelier, Edouard Oger, is an intoxicating prelude to the evening’s enjoyment of a sumptuous Gala Dinner created by Executive Head Chef, Michael Caines MBE. As the evening concludes, join fellow guests and staff to see in the New Year.
On New Year’s Day for those who enjoy getting out into the fabulous fresh air of the moors, enjoy a guide two-hour guided walk. Alternatively, you may prefer to explore our beautiful gardens with a stroll in the grounds or just relax in a comfortable sofa in front of a blazing fire. However you choose to spend the day, you will be rewarded with a specially extended seasonal menu for Dinner on New Year’s Day.
Our New Year’s Eve Break is for a minimum stay of three nights. Rates are daily rates for double occupancy and include; à la carte dinner on one evening, the Gala Dinner on New Year’s Eve and a specially extended seasonal menu on New Year’s day, champagne tasting, guided walk and each morning; tea or coffee in your room and cooked or continental breakfast. Rates include Government tax with service being left to guest’s discretion.
We require a 50% deposit, for New Year Stays. If your reservation is cancelled before 1st December 2011 your deposit would be refunded. If your reservation is cancelled after 1st December 2011 we will have to charge fully for lost business if the room is not relet. This is a substantial liability and we recommend that it be covered by holiday insurance
