There are 82 restaurants participating in L'École des Chefs, and they are located in the United States and France as well as Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Is this a cooking class? No. Rather than a cooking class format, L'École des Chefs is structured like a culinary internship, where you will have to apply to the program. If you are accepted, you will actually go into the kitchen during prep to observe and assist, then you will observe during service. The program does not offer printed notes or recipes, but you are welcome to bring a notebook and take notes on your own.
