Unique in the world: long ago the Dukes of Burgundy, Philippe the Bold and Jean the Fearless were already in the habit of stopping off for a bite to eat in Chagny because of the excellent reputation of its table.
Three generations of the Lameloise family have brought life to this former post house renowned for the quality of the hospitality but above all for its unique table. The present chef and owner, Jacques Lameloise, perpetuates the talent and gastronomic standards of his father, Jean, and his grandfather, Pierre, who, back in the 1920s, spoke out against “the wretched modern feasts where weakened stomachs are shocked by dishes of high calibre”. Times have changed, but the challenge remains the same: to make our stomachs more “intelligent”, thanks to creations such as scallops cooked “a la plancha”, with a green apple jus and hazelnut croustillant… Activities: Golf, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, hot-air ballooning
