Victor Hugo once said: “On a clear day the Vesdre valley sometimes resembles a ravine, sometimes a garden, but always a paradise.” Set in 13 hectares of parkland, covered with ramsons, where roe deer, wild boar, pheasants, squirrels and herons gambol, this former residence of a wool industry tycoon dates back to the 1920s. Nowadays, this establishment marries well-being with dining pleasures. Adding that extra touch to the local gastronomy, chef Samuel Blanc creates culinary masterpieces such as grilled Pays de Racan pigeon served on a bed of Puy lentils, with a Leffe Brown sauce. The junior suites “Princesse de Liège”, “Comptoir de Laines” and “Passion Simenon” reflect regional themes.
