The Bareiss, a wellness temple with a splendid spa, five pools - fresh and salt water, four Jacuzzis, a Finnish and bio sauna and steam baths, enjoys a magnificent setting in the heart of the Black Forest. Three interlinked ponds with bridges and elevated walkways invite you to stroll from one island to the next and finish up on a white sandy beach. In the kitchen, chef Claus-Peter Lumpp contributes to the magic of the place with creations like smoked St. Patrick salmon and imperial caviar and chive cream or sea bass poached in a squid jus on Mediterranean tapioca risotto.
