
The South China Karst inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List!
UNESCO recently unveiled the latest additions to its World Heritage List and has chosen to include the South China Karst amongst its prestigious sites!
“The South China Karst region extends over a surface of half a million square kilometres, lying mainly in Yunnan, Guizhou, and Guangxi Provinces.”
An exceptional natural heritage consisting of rock formations in varying colours and shapes, the Karst offers a unique landscape to discover in Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi Provinces.
UNESCO has placed particular emphasis on the Karst of Libo, Shilin and Wulong, which are some of the most spectacular examples of these giant stone peaks that are found across South China.
