This lovingly refurbished, completely revamped hotel, dating back to the 1930s, is located in the picturesque Vienna Woods, just half an hour from the capital. The Steirereck is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Vienna, close to the famous Johann Strauss statue. Drawing on produce from local farmers and the products from his own farm, Heinz Reitbauer creates the very finest of contemporary Austrian cuisine in an Art Nouveau setting. Filzmoos, a place of pilgrimage, is situated in Fritzenbach valley, half an hour from Salzburg. It is renowned for its Kindl, a Baroque-like figure of the Jesus child on the church altar.
