TEFAF Maastricht: 18-27 march 2011

TEFAF is unique. The world’s most influential of art and antiques fair attracts collectors and museum curators from around the globe. Every era from classical antiquity to the 21st century is represented at TEFAF. Some 30,000 works of art and antiques are shown by 263 leading art dealers from 17 different countries. The next edition of TEFAF will take place from 18-27 March 2011 in Maastricht in the south of the Netherlands.

The strength of TEFAF

The strength of TEFAF is based on its consistently high level of quality, unequalled choice and depth of the works of art on offer. The fair gained fame with its Old Masters, but there is far more. TEFAF offers a huge range of Impressionist pictures, modern and contemporary art, furniture, sculpture, silver, porcelain, jewellery and design. In addition, there is a dazzling choice of classical antiquities, Asian, African, Oceanic and Latin American objects. In 2010 the fair will introduce TEFAF on Paper, a ninth section devoted entirely to works on paper.

Buying with confidence

TEFAF has led the way in establishing proper vetting procedures, and these procedures are still considered the most rigorous. More than 165 international experts evaluate each object for quality, authenticity and condition. Moreover the Art Loss Register makes sure that no listed stolen objects will be offered for sale.
