Baden-Baden


To the north of the Black Forest, adjoining the French frontier, Baden-Baden continues its tradition as a spa dating back two thousand years. The Romans already used to come here in ancient times to take the waters and enjoy steam baths. The ruins of these ancient installations can still be seen but it is also possible to follow their example and take advantage of one of the city’s numerous spa establishments in order to relax. The proximity of the Black Forest means that visitors can enjoy a walk between two spa treatment sessions in a fantastic setting.
