Karlsruhe

Karlsruhe, also referred to as “Germany’s think tank” because of its many research centres, is built in the shape of a fan. All the streets in the city converge on the castle in its centre. It boasts numerous parks and green areas which have earned it the title of “the Green City”.

Stuttgart

In the Neckar Valley, Stuttgart, the capital of Bade-Wurtemberg, has the stamp of a metropolis with lively, historic quarters, interspersed with parks and gardens. In this city of many attractions, visitors can see Solitude Castle, the Bad Cannstatt spa park or Killesberg and the Wilhelma zoo. Stuttgart is also the birthplace of the famous Porsche and the most famous models can be seen in the museum there.

Franckfurt

Frankfurt is the city of finance, home to the European Central Bank and the German Stock Exchange. Due to its many skyscrapers, it has been dubbed Mainhattan. It is a place full of contrasts - the latest contemporary buildings of some of the world’s most important banks stand alongside historic buildings like the Römer Townhall or the newly restored Old Opera House. Culture plays a major role in this town which saw the birth of Anne Frank and Goethe.
