This Gulf, situated between the Morbihan coast and the Rhuys peninsula is almost like an inland sea. This landscape that changes with the weather and tides is dotted with hundreds of small islands, offering an exceptional panorama that can be enjoyed by boat or during a walk along the coast.

The sheltered port of Vannes is a good starting point. The town is not lacking in interest (the old town and wash houses for example) and it has the mildest climate in the whole of Brittany.
