Port-Louis, Quiberon and Carnac
The Morbihan coast citadel, Port-Louis was given its name by Louis XIII. Its original town walls, historic centre and yachting harbour have definite appeal.
Further along the coast is Carnac, on the way to Quiberon. Carnac is an alignment of hundreds of menhirs, still standing after five thousand years.
Quiberon also has lines of menhirs but, above all, is popular for its beaches and nautical infrastructures for boating enthusiasts.
