Belle-Ile en mer
Off the Morbihan coast, the rich history of Belle-Île goes back to the Celts and Romans. Vestiges of these civilisations are still to be found on the island, as well as the fortifications erected by the engineers of the Kings of France (including those designed by Vauban).
A walk along the wild coast is a must here - from the Port-Coton Pointe des Poulains and des Aiguilles where land and sea meet with a clash in an exceptional, wild setting.
