Lisbon

Founded by the Phoenicians three thousand years ago on the banks of the Tage, Lisbon is now a European capital of prime importance due to the richness of its history, its city landscape and the local produce.

What sights are there to be seen? The Belem tower on the Tage, which functioned as fortifications and a lighthouse; the Praça do Comercio, the seat of the Portuguese government, religious buildings such as the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and Church of Santa Maria, not forgetting the botanical gardens and the cultural aspect, with numerous museums, including the very rich Calouste Gulbenkian museum.
