Between the Black Forest and Lake Constance, Schaffhausen is a small, idyllic-looking town combining art and nature. In the centre of the town are tiny streets with numerous richly-decorated large houses. The Munot fortress and St. Martin’s Abbey with its superb garden are part of its historic heritage.

The nearby Rhine Falls (the largest in Europe) offer a gripping spectacle that cannot fail to impress.
