The unusual coloured earths of Chamarel are astonishing on account of the many different colours of sands found there created by erosion of the volcanic rock. They are near the magnificent Chamarel Falls. An exceptional landscape which is a very good reason to explore the interior of the island in between relaxing on its shores!
