Bushman Kloof reserve, located between the Cederberg mountains and the wild plains of Great Karoo and its nature reserve, a "site belonging to South Africa’s natural heritage", has an outstanding variety of flora and fauna and a rugged natural beauty.
Once a renowned hunting ground, today it is home to hundreds of animal and plant species sheltered from human interference. Over and above its breath-taking natural beauty, it boasts more than 130 archaeological sites which contain magnificent rock paintings dating back more than 10,000 years - one of Southern Africa’s most unusual cultural treasures.
