The Original Sticky Toffee Pudding
Originally known as ’icky sticky toffee sponge’, Sticky Toffee Pudding was created by Francis Coulson, the original owner of the hotel, at Sharrow Bay in the early 1970s.
The Sharrow Bay Sticky Toffee Pudding, the perfect alternative to traditional Christmas pudding, is now available to order online for just £6.99.
To celebrate the launch of the pudding, Sharrow Bay is offering six lucky customers the chance to win a luxury Sharrow break with every purchase.
Michelin Star Magic on Lake District Mountain Peak
Sharrow Bay teamed up with the National Multiple Sclerosis charity to create a fabulous Michelin star dining experience on the summit of the Lake District’s most famous mountain, Helvellyn, for the launch of the ’My Supper for MS’ fundraising initiative, whereby dinner party guests each make a donation to the trust.
This stunning dinner party provided the perfect backdrop for the scrumptious meal, prepared by Sharrow Bay’s renowned Michelin star team, with transport to the summit provided by luxury helicopter.
Sharrow Bay carries out a huge amount of charitable work; indeed in 2006 the hotel has raised over £30,000 for charity.
